


Assessment of Effects
The Ōpōtiki Harbour project is committed to a development that takes into account the environmental effects of the proposal. A number of studies have been undertaken by a multi-disciplinary investigation team. Studies include:
- Landscape effects - Rachel de Lambert, Boffa.
- Terrestrial ecology -Willie Shaw and Maggie Bayfield, Wildlands Consultants.
- Marine ecology -Brian Coffey.
- Archaeology - Ken Phillips.
- Traffic and noise - Jim Finlay, Ōpōtiki District Council.
The study outcomes are contained in the June 2008 newsletter and are included in full in the consent applications for the project.
