The environmental effects of the proposed Opotiki Harbour Development have been assessed by a multi-disciplinary investigation team.
Studies include:
- Landscape effects – Rachel de Lambert, Boffa
- Terrestrial ecology – Willie Shaw & Maggie Bayfield, Wildlands Consultants
- Marine ecology – Brian Coffey
- Archaeology – Ken Phillips
- Traffic & noise – Jim Finlay, Opotiki District Council
The study outcomes are contained in the Update newsletter – June 2008 and are included in full in the Consent applications for the project.
